December 12-15, 2017 |YMC

Aiming to develop leaders of test riders at Yamaha bases in ASEAN, Yamaha Motor held the 3rd training seminar for developing instructor leaders of national bases in Asia.

9 test riders from 4 bases (*) in Asia learned how to train test riders from Yamaha Motor instructors.
*4 bases: Yamaha Motor Asian Center (YMAC) in Thailand, PT Yamaha Motor RND Indonesia (YMRID), Yamaha Motor Vietnam (YMVN), and Yamaha Motor R&D Taiwan (YMRT).

On the first day, they joined a meeting with Japanese instructors and received lectures on giving safety instructions. On the second day, they acted as trial instructors to five prospective test riders from the Testing Planning Division of YMC. New programs were carried out on the third day. They learned how to ride off road for the first time at Trail Land Hamakita and experienced riding on the circuit.

In the final meeting, Theera Nakrit from YMAC, qualified as an instructor, was appointed as Instructor and Instructor Leader of National Bases, a newly-created position. All the participants had their qualifications renewed. Each and every one of them studied hard on their own, and took home deeper knowledge and upgraded skills.
