Japan Festival Canada 2017
Japan Festival Canada 2017 combined the “Two Passions” of Yamaha — music and motors — with a joint exhibit by Yamaha Canada Music and Yamaha Motor Canada.
Held on August 26-27, 2017 at Celebration Square in Mississauga, ON, it was a weekend for celebrating Japanese culture in Canada, showcasing the strength of Japan-Canada relations.
An estimated 70,000 people attended the two-days festival to enjoy Japanese food, culture, technology and shopping. The festival celebrates Japanese companies based in Canada and those individuals who live and work in Canada, while emphasizing the importance of the Japanese-Canadian relationship.
This year’s Japan Festival Canada also commemorated the 150th anniversary of Canadian Confederation.
Yamaha Music and Yamaha Motor worked together to share the message of “Two Yamahas, One Passion.” By so doing, Yamaha showcased a celebration of Japanese culture, and ensured that the Yamaha brand continues to be strong with Canadians from all backgrounds. Over the two-days event, the joint exhibit was constantly bustling with people of all ages and walks of life enjoying products from Two Yamahas.
Yamaha supports local festivals and community events to enrich the lives of all Canadians, whether they enjoy music, motors, or both.
