ABE Initiative at Work! Summer Internships
We held a summer internship based on the African Business Education Initiative for Youth (ABE Initiative), first introduced in June 2013 at the 5th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD V). It was the second time for us, and this year eleven exchange students from seven African countries took part in the program.
With the cooperation of the Global Human Resources Development Division and Design Center, participants toured the factory, took boat rides, and learn about Yamaha. We also held group discussions on “Development of Clean Water Supply Systems” and “MC Accessory for the African Market,” giving them a chance to experience one facet of what we do.
We are delighted that the students learned more about Yamaha.
