The number of Exciter Motorcycles Shipped Reaches One Million!

The shipment of the Exciter models – extremely popular in Vietnam since the release of the series in 2006 – has reached one million units in total.

The first model of the series, the Exciter T135, was a 4-stroke underbone-frame model and, for YMVN, it was the first model mounted with a liquid-cooled engine. The second model with more mature details was released in 2011 and won popularity among young riders, thanks to its sporty riding feel. In 2012, the annual sales of 100,000 units was achieved.

The third and current model is mounted with a larger 150cc displacement, light-weight aluminum-die-cast wheels made with a cutting-edge production method, and a 120mm-wide rear tire. With a style incorporating the essence of the YZF-R1, the model attracted more fans, reaching the annual sales of 200,000 units in 2016.

In celebration of this milestone, YMVN is planning a trans-ASEAN touring event, the release of limited editions in two colors, Guinness World Record challenges, nation-wide events, and more. YMVN will continue to promote the Exciter series as the flagship models of sporty mopeds, raise the brand value, and increase the number of fans.
