Yamaha Marine Group announced recently from the Miami International Boat ShowR that the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMAR) has again recognized Yamaha with a CSI Award for excellence in customer satisfaction in the Outboard Engine category. This year's award is the sixteenth consecutive award, an achievement no other outboard manufacturer can claim.

The annual Miami International Boat Show, the largest in the nation, ran from February 16th-20th 2017 and featured thousands of marine products from manufacturers the world over. But it was Yamaha that stole the show once again as the offshore market is absolutely dominated by Yamaha Outboards and the awards received demonstrated that fact!

In addition, Yamaha's boat companies SkeeterR and G3R Boats received awards. Skeeter was recognized in the Fiberglass Outboard Boat category. G3 Boats was recognized in two categories: Aluminum Outboard Boats and Pontoon Boats.

"NMMA's CSI Award is one of the most important in the marine industry as it indicates we are delivering the best product and experience we can to our customers," said Ben Speciale, President, Yamaha Marine Group. "The recognition is not earned alone but in cooperation with our boat builders and dealers. We share this award with them and are extremely proud of the accomplishment."

Yamaha also chose the Miami International Boat Show to debut the revolutionary new Helm Master Control System with Set Point suite of functions, a system that excels in the off-shore environment.

The Miami Boat Show typically kicks off the marine business in the U.S., and by all indications, the year ahead looks to be another fantastic season!
