Busan International Motor Show in South Korea
A motor show was held in Busan, South Korea, from June 3 to 12, 2016. The first-ever motorcycle-only display was on show at the Yamaha booth through support by local dealer Hankook Motor Trading.
Over its run, the event drew over 700,000 visitors, and through moves that included a press-day address by Executive General Manager Yoshihiro Hidaka and media conference for the MT-10, the appeal of the Yamaha brand was communicated in a big way. The Yamaha booth also received wide media coverage by television stations, magazines, and elsewhere, making for a high-attention event.
This year sees new-model releases for the YZF-R3A, MT-03A, and NMAX. Orders have exceeded expectations, making for favorable sales. We will continue doing all we can to continue boosting Yamaha's market penetration in South Korea.
