Middle East Distributors Meeting

February 29 and March 1, A Middle East Distributors Meeting was recently held in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), with attendance by a total of 23 sales and service managers from eight Yamaha Motor distributors.

The meeting included explanations of policies in all areas and an introduction covering the product warranty registration system, and information on the global boat package business now integrated up through after-sales service was also shared.

The solidarity of sales and service was reaffirmed through holding this meeting jointly, making it possible to share action plans moving forward.

Product Warranty Registration System

With the growing complexity of not just outboard motors but of boat steering systems as well, this system is capable of managing combined information for the entire boat as a package. It can also save pre-delivery inspection records and other historical information. This system is expected to find use in a broad range of applications.

After-sales Service for the Global Boat Package Business

Outboard motors are just one part of boats, and the business model that covers entire boat packages, including outboard motors, is growing. This establishes rules for setups that make it possible to roll out after-sales service offerings from authorized Yamaha distributors that also target customers of products imported as global boat packages.
