January 21, 2016   Yamaha Motor Corporation North American President Terry Okawa and Motorsports Vice President Taka Fujimura join Yamaha Corporation of America Marketing Communications Manager David Jewell at the 2016 National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) show in Anaheim, California for the public unveiling of the new Yamaha Revstar lineup of solid-body electric guitars. Pictured also at the entrance to the Yamaha booth was a Yamaha Star Bolt that was used to best define the style and character of the new guitar line. The Revstar line draws from the legendary 50-year history of Yamaha guitars, while the Bolt traces its roots back 60 years to the very beginning of Yamaha Motor Company. “This joint activity perfectly reflects the “Two Yamahas, One Passion” philosophy of the Yamaha brand,” said Bob Starr, Corporate Communications Manager for Yamaha Motor Corporation.” And to see the crowd reaction to both products in one display signals a great beginning for more collaboration in the very near future!
