Born September 1965. In 1991 joined Team Uncini, riding a YZR500 in the 500cc class, and achieved a ranking of 9th. In the same year, teamed with Kevin Magee to ride in the Suzuka 8 Hours, coming 2nd. Started his career in dirt track racing in the United States. In 1987, ranked 3rd in AMA dirt track events. In 1990, took the AMA Superbike title. After riding Yamaha machines in 1991, rode Suzuki and Cagiva in the GP500.
