The Yamaha Motorcycle Connect Application (“Y-Connect Application”) provided by Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us” or “our”) seeks to provide owners of Yamaha motorcycles new ways to enjoy travelling on your motorcycle, connecting to your Yamaha motorcycle using Bluetooth functions.
This Yamaha Motorcycle Connect Application Privacy Notice (“Application Notice”) applies to data collected and processed during your use of the Y-Connect Application. Disclosures required under local laws are set out under country specific sections.
To use the Y-Connect Application you will need to register a Yamaha Motor ID. This is managed under a separate privacy notice (Yamaha Motor ID Privacy Notice) and can be found underneath the Application Notice. If there is a conflict between the Application Notice and the Yamaha Motor ID Privacy Notice, the Application Notice shall be prioritized.
This Application Notice follows the language on your smartphone. The official language of this Application Notice is English.

When you navigate with Google Maps using Y-Connect app, Google collects navigation data, such as GPS location and the route you took, to improve Google Maps for everyone. This data may be used to make information, including real-time traffic conditions and disruptions, visible to others and help them find the best route. These updates to the map won't be associated with your Google Account or device. Google's Terms and Privacy Policy apply.

As we are engaged in business activities on a global scale, we may transfer your data to a country or region that do not have personal data protection laws or regulations equivalent to the country or region you reside in or are located. You can login to Y-Connect Application using your Google and/or Apple details. You will be asked to give us permission to use your Google and/or Apple account information including name and email address. You may at any time remove your account from our services and withdraw approval to share from your social media account settings.
If you use a social media account to log in to Y-Connect Application, the social media provider may process data related to you, such as your use of the Y-Connect Application. We will not be liable for that processing of your data.
