Process for Identifying Important Societal IssuesIssues directly affecting the sustainability of our business modelImportant issues related to the strengthening of our business platformsSTEP 1We look at the wide range of societal issues referenced in the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Global Risks Report, and select those that will have the greatest impact on Yamaha Motor’s use and procurement of management resources, and for which the resolution will make the greatest contribution to the enhancement of corporate value. The Sustainability Committee takes the lead role in advancing these initiatives and each department monitors and manages their respective progress.
