Important Societal Issues (Materiality Issues)To achieve sustainable growth together with society, Yamaha Motor intends to help resolve a variety of societal issues in uniquely Yamaha ways.In formulating its Long-Term Vision and Medium-Term Management Plan, the Company identified important societal issues that it can help resolve by leveraging its strengths and has incorporated initiatives to resolve these issues into the Medium-Term Management Plan.STEPWe look at the wide range of societal issues referenced in the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Global Risks Report, and select those that will have the greatest impact on Yamaha Motor’s use and procurement of management resources, and for which the resolution will make the greatest contribution to the enhancement of corporate value.
