FW is the generation of a well-formed output waveform that can be used in a wide variety of electrical equipment.
The proposed generator (EF900FW) can supply electric power with a quality that exceeds that of a standard generator because the EF900FW adopts the FW method. The distortion rate of the output waveform of the FW generator improved to 8% or less (approximately 25%) as compared to that of a conventional generator of the same output class. The adoption of this method extends the applications of this type of generator to equipment that cannot be used with a regular generator. Examples of such include corded electric tools, motor driven adjustable-speed machines (such as a pitching machine), power adjustable IH cooking ranges, and metal halide floodlights. The FW generator is available at a reasonable price despite its considerably larger waveform distortion when compared with inverter generators of the same output class.
An FW generator can be used in various applications including the following:
1. It can be used to run a wide variety of electrical equipment
Damper windings (referred to as Future Wave in this study) were adopted in the FW generator. This type of generator is suitable for and can be used in a variety of electrical equipment since the waveform distortion ratio is smaller than the waveform distortion ratio of a standard generator.
2. It is available at a reasonable price
This type of generator is available at a reasonable and affordable price when compared with an inverter generator.
