Camshaft
A camshaft requires both hard and soft components for its construction. We use chill-cast camshafts in many applications. The casting method we devised is well suited for placing the metal chill in the casting molds (cold box, shell mold), and allows us to manufacture camshafts with outstanding functionality and an attractive price–performance ratio. Hollow cams are used in high-performance models to further reduce overall engine weight.
