Tree Planting Activity
Following last year's “Tree Planting Day” event, 35 employees from Yamaha Motor China Co. Ltd. (YMCN), Shanghai Yamaha Jianshe Motor Marketing Co., Ltd., Yamaha Motor R&D Shanghai Co., Ltd., and Yamaha Motor Solutions Co., Ltd. Xiamen planted 12 cherry trees at Zizhu High-Tech Park in Shanghai’s Minhang District on March 8th. (Activity name: 共建绿色 植有你行/ Building Green Together with You)
Before the tree planting, ARINISHI Tatsuya, President of YMCN, declared, "We, the Yamaha Motor China Group, continue to move toward achieving carbon neutrality and engage in environmental protection initiatives." Then, Ren Man, General Supervisor of the Zizhu Hi-Tech Park, commented, “We appreciate Yamaha's contribution to our efforts of building a beautiful Zizhu Hi-Tech Zone.”
In addition to tree-planting activities, YMCN collects plant seeds and encourages Yamaha fans to participate in environmental conservation initiatives through SNS. As topics like global environmental issues and carbon neutrality increasingly draw attention worldwide, YMCN will continue its initiatives like tree planting in China, hoping to raise people’s awareness and help to make the earth greener.
