An OMDO Member Becomes
the First Ever Female ATV YRA Instructor!
FUKUOKA Tamayo of the Central America & Caribbean Group, Area Marketing Division, Overseas Market Development Operations (OMDO) Business Unit, has been certified as an ATV YRA instructor. Fukuoka, along with two other candidates, underwent the four-day training before being successfully certified. The new instructors will now conduct the ATV safety training programs in their respective markets and promote YRA in collaboration with ATV dealers.
OMDO is proud to have someone like Fukuoka, who is trailblazing a new path for female employees. We will continue to train more female riders to become YRA instructors.
*Yamaha Riding Academy, or YRA, is a training program that Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. provides to teach safe operation of Yamaha products. ATV dealers are required to conduct YRA classes in order to sell ATV units.
