YMSLI Collaborates with Indian Institutes of Technology
Yamaha Motor Solutions (India) Private Limited (YMSLI), headquartered near Delhi, India, is collaborating with the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IITD).
YMSLI and IITD are committed to "pushing the horizons of innovation and bridging academia and industry for mutual growth". Based on the commitment, the two collaborators;
・provide technical and engineering support for various projects in which YMSLI is involved,
・engage in R&D in the IT field, particularly in the search for business applications of technologies such as autonomous driving, image processing, and generative AI.
・establish an incubation center on the IITD campus and build a network of human capital through the center.
YMSLI will contribute to the Yamaha Motor Group through IT and digital technology.

IIT is a world-renowned “cluster” of 23 science and engineering universities across India, including the Delhi campus.
Many IIT alums are successful leaders in India and worldwide, including Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google; Nikesh Arora, former Vice President of Softbank Group; former head of McKinsey; and co-founder of Sun Microsystems.
India’s Ministry of Education releases annual university rankings. In the 2023 ranking, IIT Madras (Chennai) received first place overall, followed by the Indian Institute of Science in second and IIT Delhi (IITD) in third. Seven out of the top 10 schools are a part of IIT.
