Service to support angling fans during their weekend getaways
Panorama, BRAZIL

image

The city of Panorama in the State of São Paulo serves as a fishing camp base for sport anglers that flock to the area on the weekends with their trailer-able boats. It is well equipped to provide an environment where many anglers can enjoy their time on the water with assurance. One of the reasons is the Yamaha Service network. This time, for a change of pace, we introduce the activities of the area’s Yamaha dealer.

The vast interior and ocean coastline dotted with islands epitomize Brazil's marine appeal
Rio de Janeiro, BRAZIL

image

In 2014, Brazil will be hosting the FIFA World Cup, and in 2016 it will host the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. And of course, there are many other things associated with Brazil, like the Rio Carnival, coffee and Bossa Nova that have long attracted people’s attention to the country.

The river's flow brings rewarding time on the water
Atjoni, SURINAME

image

Suriname is the smallest country on the continent of South America. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it is unique in that the main transportation network in the interior of the country is made up of rivers alone, thus many boats here are used as a form of transport by the people. We traveled the Suriname River, its waters stretching from the Guiana Highlands through the Amazon region.

The sea is the “oasis”
Kuwait, KUWAIT

image

Like other countries that border the sea in this region, the summers in Kuwait are scorching, with the sun raising temperatures to 40° and sometimes even 50° C. On top of that, fierce sandstorms assail the cities. In such a harsh climate, people love to head to the sea to escape from their daily lives and the intense heat.

Blue oasis of Central Asia
Kapchagay, KAZAKHSTAN

image

Looking across the blue waters of Lake Kapchagay in the Republic of Kazakhstan, we see the Alatau range extending from the Tian Shan Mountains. In the clear blue skies of mid-summer its peaks are still graced with white snow banks. This lake is located some 80 km north of the old capital of Almaty. By car it is a trip of about two hours. Here we spend a holiday on the shores of this lake in the center of Central Asia.

Freedom of the open sea around a fortress town
Cartagena, COLOMBIA

image

Colombia is a country with coasts on both the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. The city of Cartagena on the Caribbean attracts the most tourists of any city in Colombia. There are several marinas in the harbor full of motor cruisers and sailboats that add an attractive highlight to the modern cityscape. In contrast to the modern city, many of the resorts scattered along the peninsula retain an almost rustic simplicity and make this area a perfect destination for a two or three day cruising trip. We left the marina in Cartegena in a convoy of three boats and two personal watercraft and headed out to the islands of the southwest Caribbean Sea.

Asian resort, the luxury of simplicity
Redang Island, MALAYSIA

image

There are a lot of resorts on a myriad of islands in the area from the Philippine Sea through the East China Sea, lying off the southeast coasts of the Asian continent, as well as in the coastal areas from Thailand down to Malay Peninsula. Facilities and personnel more than sufficient to enjoy the simple life are waiting for you with the superb and gorgeous ocean.
